I am ABMS board certified, my medical school is recognized in the 2nd schedule. I am fairly published in my field (>30 first author publications in American and European journals), write textbook chapters in my specialty's reference books (think Harrison's), and regularly invited as a speaker/KOL at national conferences.

I am fully prepared to work as a conditional AC for a year or two before I can be fully registered if I decide to return to SG. However, I am a bit hesitant after speaking with a couple of SG docs who have left SG, as they warned me about moving to SG for the above reasons.

Thanks in advance.

Real gold no scared fire

If you are good clinically and willing to work hard, you will enjoy sg environment

Whats in Singapore that you need to go back to?
You are crazy.
It is like a Singaporean saying they are MMed and want to move abroad.
Same issues.
If you really need to move maybe write to the hospital department heads and ask if they want you.

I appreciate everyone has different views of success. Maybe I come from a lower social economic class than you, hence my opinion of owning 2 condo- 1 to live and 1 to rent for passive income is successful and I make no apologies for that.

Of course, I respect everyone have different standards and your standards may be landed property for e.g.

Thats why nhs is going bankrupt

They hire doctors yet the doctors dont work hard

Pure caucasians okie they are hardworking
But when they took in eastern europeans and middle eastern docs
The sloth and laziness increased exponentially, and they started to
Strike for more pay

Ridiculous

Glad sg dont have this kind of lazy docs
The routine is 6am to next day 12pm

My time was 6am to next day 6pm
