Unregistered Neither. If you're good enough to get offered by either company, chances are you can get a higher salary in private sector.

Unregistered Wouldn't probably touch hardcore CS stuff. I would go for GIC, don't worry about the contract ortion, exit opportunity probably better than govtech

What are the chances of conversion after the contract ends? Do you plan to stay in GIC long term? Which part of CS are you doing? Might be good to tell us the salary too.

Career Advice for Comp Sci Grad: GIC or GovTech

I have received several offers from companies, narrowed it down to GovTech and GIC.

Base salary gic is slightly higher than govtech. So the overall salary is better.

But gic is offering me a contract role. Should i take it?
