The Sengkang Grand Residences Floor Plans

Some example architectural floor plans for Sengkang Grand Residence have just come out. And from what we could see of it, it looks pretty much run of the mill. Nothing really special, might have been any other project. A bit of a let down actually. Functional, but was expecting something a bit more special, since Sengkang Grand is being developed by Capitaland and CDL, and both are supposedly quite strong in this area. But to be fair, only a handful of floor plans have come out, so the others may be better.

Sengkang Grand Residences – Integrated with Buangkok MRT, Bus Interchange & Malls

For the first time in a decade, leading homegrown international property developers CapitaLand and City Developments Limited (CDL) team up to present Sengkang Grand Residences – a mixed-use development with its residential units being the final new launch for northeastern District 19 in 2019.

Sengkang Grand Residences is expected to launch in Sep/Oct 2019.

Sengkang Grand Residences is located at Sengkang Central, next to Buangkok MRT station. Named in Teochew after a rubber plantation company, Buangkok is a former kampong located between Hougang and Kangkar (now Sengkang). Today’s Buangkok has vaguely overlapping boundaries with Sengkang and Hougang in District 19.

It is also the only place in Singapore mainland where its last kampong still stands. With no more than 30 households stretching over 1.22ha and surrounded by newer and modern-looking flats in Lorong Buangkok, Kampong Lorong Buangkok is a hidden gem for curious visitors seeking rustic and nostalgia old Singapore, for as long as it is left untouched for housing development.
