just get contract job if you have to. and then you try to secure permanent position if possible.

trust me, everybody has their own problem. and those who got a job and hate their job like me is not any better. believe me that.

if something is making u unhappy... do not force yourself to be in that unhappy situation.

Unregistered I too had the experience of hating my job and left without a job. The job was driving me nuts and if had just stayed on, I could be in IMH today. My wife was understanding and gave her blessings for me to quit without a job because I have been such a wonderful husband and father and have provided the family very well all these years with life of luxury. When I left, I couldn't get a new job due to age as I was in my early forties. After one year of no job, I decided to do my own stocks investment. So I sold my landed property and bought a cheap condo and use the remaining fund for my stocks investment. I'm now able to generate decent income from my investments. I now have no debt today. I'm a very happy man today.

I feel your pain, and i agree u can ask yr boss to take u back, dun give a crap abt what ppl think. you need to eat and sleep under a roof. afterall work is only for the money.

If the above is out, then get any job jus get working and dun stay in limbo

well remember u r worth more than just our job title... even our minister is learning this lesson.. humbling..but if it saves your soul n make u a better person... well worth it.

i went thorough something similiar. so now i cn say that i really count my blessings every day even though my job really sucks

Talk about self-esteem issues, yes, I feel my confidence is diminishing with every passing day....

dont worry about the future problems which is not within your control. solve current one n take each step as they come.

well, life is like that. I have many setbacks in my career too. In career, a lot depends on luck and being at the right place at the right time. Don't feel too discouraged, take up a temp job first or you will start facing self-esteem issues. At least it will occupy your mind while looking for a better job.

Thanks, whyworry, for your suggestion. I will have to settle for a contract job if I still cant find a suitable by end of this month. My concern is, once I accepted a lower pay, it will be difficult to bargain for at least my last drawn pay in future.
