About Florence Residences Resale Site Word on the ground is that the former Florence Regency that was sold en bloc to Logan Property, will be redeveloped as Florence Residences. How true that is remains to be seen. In the meantime, we will just assume it is so, and call it accordingly. Firstly, about the developer. Logan Property is a China developer, but don't let that put you off. Going by the quality of the Stirling Residences showflat that it launched earlier this year, if the Florence Residences showflat achieves the same level of finishing, then we have not much to worry about in this respect. Secondly, location. How convenient is the Florence Residences location to amenities, especially to public transport? Well, if you are taking a bus, it's pretty close to Yio Chu Kang Road, along which several buses run. But if you prefer the MRT line, then the nearest station, Kovan station, is quite a walk away. Something in the region of 10 minutes or so, less if you are fast walker. The same goes for access to shops and eateries. The nearest shophouses with local fare is perhaps within 5 minutes walk or so of the Florence Residences condo. And the good news is that there is plenty of good food to be found there, enough to draw foodies from around the island. However the nearest Fairprice supermarket and Heartland Mall are even further than the MRT station, possibly a 12 minute walk or so. But that is almost to be expected, as the Florence Residences condo sits within a private residential, mostly landed housing, estate. And landed housing estates are notorious for being far from amenities, which is the price they pay for their exclusivity. If that is fine with you and you want to view the Florence Residences showflat when it opens for viewing sometime in 2019, then just drop us a line.
