Aiya why SVC and GDS fight like that. Both are funded by central/agencies and each plays different roles. GDS is on project/product delivery while SVC doing coordination, focus on Agency IT roadmap, governance etc. If both don’t collaborate and insist on own agenda, the project will fail. Quality relationships result in quality delivery. A product will sure get funding if it can flourish and bring value.

GDS is a cost center. Basically dependent on agencies to use the app built by GDS. No one use , GDS will suffer. Cannot justify why they are there

If no one use the app, is there any chance for GDS to be “bloated”? Where is the logic..?

In one of the stat board here, so long theres IT component, services will take charge in writing funding paper with inputs from business. So its a joint effort.

WFH, still kinda flexi to working hour.
Cons
Org is going through re-org and everything changes quickly. Very frustrating to do work as decision from top down is not dismantle quickly causing redundant work effort. Too many long meetings and disruptive to deliverables.
Advice to Management

CSG going through a reorg. Really wonder what's CSG direction now. We need CSG to do some security related work in projects, now they get pulled out, what they will focus on ,I wonder

I am simply saying you SVC folks need to be honest and recognize your own mediocrity.
