BrianBennett | I also decided to change my profession. Although it would be more accurate to say the place of work. I have worked as a freelancer for over 10 years and have done various jobs, including programming, design, SEO, etc. Half a year ago, I decided to find a permanent IT job somewhere in the office in order to get a more or less stable salary and not worry about the fact that I may not have enough money to pay for rent in some months. My only problem was communication and the fear of having too much contact with people. So I decided to sign up for communication skills training in order to liberate myself and get the necessary skills. Now everything is fine, I was able to get a job, although it was quite difficult. |

Unregistered | Nope. I'm not doing very well actually. Now I need to constantly work long hours, the pay is ok, but the job isn't as interesting as I thought it would be |

Unregistered | A friend advised me to switch to IT. To be honest, it was difficult at first, but very interesting. Besides, it's a pretty good salary. |

Unregistered | Have you considered switching to client facing roles, especially for those supermarket chains? You get a whole suite of experience from back end (like loading/unloading goods), middle office (like stocking shelves in the store front) and front end (where u get to interact with valuable clients, most of which are elderly)? |
