nope, no provisional or conditional offer
but i more or less can feel they (and myself) are hinging on the completion of the screening to move on the next stage (ie either to reject candidate or to move on with salary computation towards offer)

it's, to me, another sign that they likely wan to bring me in
b4 providing the formal offer
makes sense for them to screen
so that in event it turns out CMI, they can outright reject my application with cast-iron justifications (ie on grounds that my background screening failed)
in betweem the waiting window, i did went for one interview
cause also don't wan to leave things to chances
in case my screening ok
but the hiring panel have a change of thoughts and U-turn, i will be back in limbo again
