It is about the same.

Just that the poly students are more mature.

Unregistered It depends on the salary you requested. Some candidates without a degree have been placed at IPS 7 because their last drawn salary from their previous company falls within the IPS 7 salary range.

Unregistered Is it common for candidates (degree holder) with 5 years of exp to join as IPS5 Lecturer?

Relatively cheap food court and restaurants in campus. Supermart is also available. Very convenient to work in college.

Good service as many service staff are students.

You deal with young adults instead of little kids.

18 June - 2nd interview (including presentation)
03 July - HR Enquiry (uni cert, why you want to join ITE etc...)
05 July - HR updated. says they are processing and will provide an update soon.

i've been told it will take HR roughly 1.5 to 2 months after 2nd interview to give an offer. so hopefully will get good news soon!
Hi have you gotten the offer? Should one email the HR if if no news for few weeks?

It depends on whether the experience is relevant.

Also whether the person has a good grasp of pedagogy.
