Last time it was easy. Whole of Clifford chance Singapore filled with NUS graduates. Even one or two second lowers. Now times are hard for us. Even being a slave in a conveyor belt like Wong P is not easy. |

Unregistered | This may have been the case years ago, but most of the US firms paying White Shoe / Mid-Atlantic rates are very open to hiring local grads (or at the very least, UK grads with pure SG experience). Milbank, Mofo, W&C etc have quite a few. | |

Unregistered | This is a decision for the individual to make base on whether they think the 6 years in public sector can serve some purpose towards any subsequent move to private practice, or it’s too much opportunity cost. People here can only give suggestions based on their own views but don’t look to here to endorse if the individual has already decided or have a clear preference towards not being bonded. | |
