Bukit Batok Mixed Development Le Quest

Bukit Batok West Avenue 6 is undergoing much construction, with several high-rise developments expected to populate the area. The first to the neighbourhood is Le Quest to be developed by well-established Chinese developer, Qingjian.

Bukit Batok is notable for being one of the few districts where there is heavier emphasis on greenery, with many parks and trees creating a tranquil environment. All around Le Quest for example, is the Bukit Batok Hillside Park.

It is an old town that has aged apart from the other districts with little mention in the news, which makes Qingjian’s tender of the development site unexpected.

Bukit Batok West isn’t as remote as it appears. Several schools like Dulwich College, Eden School, Millennia Institute and Bukit Batok Secondary School are within a radius of 2km.

St Luke’s Hospital along Bukit Batok West Ave 3 is less than a 10-minute drive away while Bukit Batok West Shopping Centre and Sheng Siong grocery store along Bukit Batok West Ave 8 are roughly a 15-minute drive or bus ride away.

Le Quest to Bukit Batok MRT station is about 1.4km away. Close to the MRT station is West Mall, home to a Cathay Cineplex.

For drivers, Bukit Batok Road which runs parallel to Le Quest leads into the Pan-Island Expressway (PIE) so getting onto the highway takes about five-minutes or less. From the PIE, residents can even drive down to Jurong East and IMM and from there, the International Business Park.

Bukit Batok Road, in the opposite direction of the PIE, goes directly to Chua Chu Kang, passing by ITE College West on the way.
