The exciting thing about this new EC is that it will be just 200m walk from the future Canberra MRT. :) That's the nearest an EC has been to an MRT station, since Esparina EC launched in October 2010, the first EC when the scheme was revived.

This project is by Canvey Developments, which is a fully owned subsidiary of City Developments & TID Pte Ltd. So the Brownstone EC has 2 strong points going for it - good location, and very reputable developer. The only drawback is that the Yishun / Sembawang area is generally seen as rather ulu. But considering that it should take less than 30 minutes by train from Canberra MRT to Orchard MRT station, it's still OK.

Ppvc?????

I was initially very keen to buy this EC, good location...until I saw the big advertisement PPVC. isn't this the problematic construction method used in the sengkang hdb. With all the leakage problems and complaints. Hdb is dropping this technology and this EC is using it?

Any comments on this?
