Yes, indeed. Avenue South Residences looks like an interesting project, given how tall it will be. Which means that high floor units should be able to get views all the way over the port area to Sentosa, and in future to the Greater Southern Waterfront.

The opening of the Avenue South Residence showflat has been delayed somewhat from May, to possibly June or even July. Not much information available yet either, including what the floor areas of the unit types will be like.

The main drawback for Avenue South Residence is that it isn't within comfortable walking distance from an MRT station. Even in future, when the Cantonment station is ready. Unless we can find a shortcut to it. But perhaps that drawback will be mitigated by the fact that it is a mixed development with its own shops, so that helps somewhat, as it can be self-sufficient to a certain extent.
