Sloane Residences is a new freehold residential development at Balmoral Road on the fringe of the Orchard Road shopping district of Singapore. It will stand 12 storeys tall and house 80 luxury apartments. The developer for the Sloane Residences condo is TSky Development.

Balmoral Road is an exclusive private residential enclave, lined with other similar high-end condominiums. It is a generally quiet road, in between Bukit Timah Road and Stevens Road. Sloane Residences itself sits almost mid-way between the two ends, though it is walkable to Newton MRT station.

This place is pretty convenient where schooling and shopping are concerned. Both Anglo-Chinese School (Barker Road campus) and Singapore Chinese Girls' school are within 1 km radius. Which sort of takes care of both boys and girls.

The Sloane Residences showflat site was formerly that of Sloane Court Hotel, a landmark familiar with the older generation. So it has historical significance, and is in some ways a pity that it had to make way for redevelopment.
