Men, Divorcees Owe More Money
 

Credit Bureau Singapore found in a survey that men and divorcees are likely to owe more money on their credit cards, which typically charge an exorbitant 24% pa interest.

On average, men owe $216 in overdue credit card balance. The figure is $91 for women.

39% of men roll over their balances, while a slightly lower 36% of women do likewise.

Divorcees fare worse. 43% of them roll over their balances. They are also more likely to miss the credit card payments.

So, if you're male and separated from your spouse, watch out!
