what do you need to know before trading?
 

I am interested in trading but do not have any knowledge in it, I know gaining experience is where i can learn but I do wish to research more before I jump in and get burn like crazy.

so what are the factors to take note of before trading that can aid me?
E.g. P/E Ratio

Is there any books/ website?

Fundamental+technical analysis. start off with investment first to build up a base. after that once you r more seasoned, you can try trading. its a different ball game thou

risk management. cut your losses. thinking about winning should be the last thing in your mind. easy to say but difficult to do.
