Hi all,

i have been intro by my friend for a freelance investor.

is it legal? cause he has been handling my profile and getting back returns 5-10% monthly

and what are you paying the guy for managing your money? a fee? or nothing?

which leads to my next qn... he has full custody of the money you invest with him?

Yes.paying him $500 monthly.
But it has been about 1 year plus and i have got back my capital.
My earning is with him now.

he doesn't have any financial investment licence from MAS to do what he is offering to you.

most importantly, you could be hauled to the SPF's SSB department for money laundering or money lending activities.

so in short, you are pretty stupid.

if he vanishes into thin air, which if you are familiar with the SG crypto community, there are such cases. you have zero legal recourse, meanwhile, he could be giving an interview to ST on how he managed to multiply his investment though it's through illegal means. Why? cause he won't be confessing that it was earned through illegal canvassing of funds.

Not surprising, I am on a setup with returns 8 to 12% monthly. People who don't know will always call it scam. I'm withdrawing from my investment weekly, every soon when the accumulated withdrawal amount is more than the capital put in, the investment becomes risk-free.

Every investment tool is inherently risky, even if you invest stocks on any regulated stock broker, e.g. Tiger, Moo Moo. Just know what are the risks and then manage it. Just make sure you go in with eyes wide open. Scam is only when the person run away with your money.
