Monthly/Annual Salary for Sales Management Roles

Was searching through the forum, but couldn't find any relevant info, hence starting this thread.

Wanted to have a gauge on the annual (or monthly, whichever is applicable) compensation that a person in a senior sales management role in IT MNC would be getting, perhaps 14-15 years of working experience

Any sharing, folks ?

300-400k including commissions.

usually wat's the base before comms?

Base varies very widely due to the nature of the fact it is sales position.

General rule though is that the more established that IT MNC is eg IBM, HP , the commission element may be lesser and base may be higher. In bigger MNC, your bonus will also be dependent on more factors like overall profitability etc. The upside is that bigger MNC always got customers coming in.

Smaller MNC can have sales incentive like 10-15% sales instantly payable ever quarter. Very attractive and the sky can really be the limit.

Consider this, what is you portfolio size that you are managing in your last role , 100M 200M or ?...

What is the size of portfolio that you can bring to the new company... That determine how much are you worth to them. Right ?

I know cisco sales manager can rake in 200g or more, in charge of sales in government segments
