Developer Or System Analyst. Confused Potato.
 

Hi all,

I been doing software development for 2 1/2 years , doing enterprise level mobile applications. App is stable and I felt its time to move on to something else.

I been offered a system analyst role which deals with vendor mgt and functional specifications from another company, something I would really like.I then signed with them and talked to my current director.

He has plans for me, which would to do another project (nothing set in stone yet) , which will do dev and functional. Something would would be along my career progression. But then again, Im tired of programming, perhaps I'm feeling burnout.

My current plans is to do dev for 2 -3 years and to do analyst(functional) 2-3 years and to reach project mgt kind of roles before 5 years. So should I stay or should I leave my current job? Pay is not a concern, I'm more concerned towards personal growth and skillsets.
