Dream Job vs Stable Job?

I'm 27 and in need for some career advise. I have been working in operational roles for the last 4 years. My passion lies in the financial market but I'm confident I can succeed in operations.

Recently I was offered two roles;

First one wil require me to take serious pay cut but has good future earning potentials. This role is as a trainee equities dealer which is the area which I'm truely passionate. Future payoff would be somewhere around 100k-400k?

Second one is a step up from my previous role, has a very comfortable income and will lead my career path as a managerial position in 2-3 years. Future earning of around 100k-150k?

My MAIN concern with the trainee dealer role is whether I can survive financially! My rent is already costing 1k/month, which is half of the salary.

What should I do? Should I pursue my dream job at this time and age? or should continue with my current stable path which i'm capable of doing but not passionate in?

Thanks

I would follow my passion and work really hard at a job that I love. However, do realize that probably only 1 in 20 trainee dealers make it into a permanent job. You either have it or you don't. So you have to take a risk. Make sure you save some money first and be prepared for some lean times. If you are one of those 19 who don't make it, then go back to your old boring job. At least you know you tried.

There is no such thing as a "stable" job. If you can't afford to indulge in your passion, then be contented with the job with the least discomfort and still pays you well for your existing lifestyle.
