Should I accept a new job with 11% base salary increase?
i am currently working at a local company, low base but high bonus. Stable and political. That's why I decided to jump.
I choose a famous company in a different industry. They pay high base but low bonus, fast paced and a lot of things to learn.
They made me a verbal offer I will receiveing a 11% salary increase based on my current fixer pay (current monthly income, aws, allowance). I was asking for 15% during interview.
Next week, I will be coming to their office for pacakge review. How can I negotiate with them again to make 15% increment?

you should ensure that you get 15% increment in (annual total package inclusive bonus), not just in monthly base salary.
eg
current package
basic = 3000
bonus = 6 months
annual package = (12 + 6) x 3000 = 54000
your situation + 15% base
basic = 3450
bonus = 2 months
annual package = (12 + 2) x 3450 = 48300 (you actually taking a pay cut in annual salary)
my recommendation (+15% annual package)
= 54000 x 1.15 = 62100
you should ask them for 62100 annual salary (inclusive bonus) regardless of the no of month of bonus they give.

Well, they always say bonus is uncertain so they r unable to make me an offer based on my current package....
Then I ask them for 15% increase in my fix pay and eventually they gave me 11%....
This is my first changing job, guess they play a trick on me...

Just to ask: if a fresh grad with 1 year working experience, is it ok to ask for 15% salary increase in job interview?
