Amazing Salary in Singapore
From what am seeing here. The salary for everyone seems to be growing at at amazing pace. 10 - 20% year by year. So can i safely assume that everyone in singapore will be at least 10k by the age 50?
Your thoughts.

50 is too slow, with such high cost of living most deg grads should target 10k by mid 30s.

Are you Singaporean?
If you are a degree graduate from one of the 3 main local universities, and major in any of the established professional fields such as law, medicine, business, engineering and accountancy, you should be earning $10k and above by your mid 30s, if not earlier.
It is also very inaccurate to conclude that EVERYONE by age 50 would be earning $10k. Quite a number would have lost or quit their jobs for whatever reasons. Many do not have the requisite skill sets to remain relevant to the changing employment landscape and could not command good salaries as they age.

Thanks for all the reply. I am singaporean. From what i read here. Seems that everyone's pay is growing at amazing pay. Even if you start with $2k, increment of 10% per year will get you to 10k in 17years. If you started working at 25, you will be in your 10k in early 40s.
From what i read from here, seems that everyone can do it.

The better off ones hit 10k before 35. 40s is average.
