I won't say what business. But its defintely your typical non-sexy, non-facebook, non-google type business.
His advice was you will never be rich working for others. And in jobs, you are trading time for money, contributing your sweat and effort into building something that you will never own. The first few years will be the hardest because you are putting systems in place.
His philosophy is freedom > money. Working in a job does not set you up for financial freedom or the freedom to do whatever you please. He can choose to work or choose not to work and will still be able to survive quite comfortably.
Anyway, this is what I recall and what I plan to follow too. Good luck to you.

Thanks. Did he give tips on avoiding failure, or on what type of business to get into? F&B and fashion shops seem popular, but I heard failure rate is pretty high.

Nope he didn't. Yes failure rates are high ~95%, which stops most people like you and me from going into business ourselves
I guess the risk is reduced if you started a business where you had expertise, know the right people, be in the right place in the right time and also luck.

Hi, I am 24 years old, female, with 1 year digital media experience mainly in social media and interactive (as Consultant) and 1 year of Banking sales executive experience.
I am a graduate with a Bachelor degree.
My current pay is SGD$2,700 Basic salary and commission on top of that.
Currently I am offered by a Digital media agency which is a MNC a salary of $3,200 basic and commission on top of that.
Should I accept this offer?

I think you should benchmark that against your degree with what the MOE has posted. And considering you have 2 year's worth of experience, add another 5% YoY.

Depends on which agency it is, but I'm leaning towards a yes.
Are you willing to give some hints on which agency it is? I'm in the industry so I'll have a rough idea if it's a good place.

Extremely stressful and long hours.
Plan on moving to smaller firms.

Just want to say that this is total crap, so all those who are reading this, please don't get trolled.
I am working for a Fortune 500 MNC, and we definitely do not pay people with 4.5 years of experience that much money.
