If you join Govtech becareful if you are joining the cool new side or the old school side. Despite all the hype of reinventing the culture, there are still alot of bosses who operate based on power projections and authority rather than as a leader leading by example. If you end up in which teams I will say good luck, especially if you come from the private sector who are used to collaboration, teamwork and empowerment

Any idea on how the culture of the PMO team is like? Had just done an interview with them recently.

The one who is our best developer. He did all the coding. Ux etc. Web. Android. Web services. Data see tuning... He didn't get in cause he is only ntu comp engineering 3rd class. But he is self leaned software developer. He can come up a prototype in less than 1 month. End up boss give him everything. Good server. Good laptop etc. But be wanted to quit cause he overworked...

So yep. You can code no use.
They see qualification. The more master they have. The more "talented" they appear.
Do think this is true....i third class degree from ntu also at govtech now. experience more inportant but you must be in the correct role.

PM is PM, no need coding. If you are a good developer, go for the coding role like tech lead or engineer etc...sure got it one if you are really that good.
