I guess it really depends on which company you worked for before. Let's say your monthly salary is 8k without aws and bonus working in startup. Per-annum is 96k. Assuming you are offered the same 8k salary from govtech and it's perm position, using the packages shared above, then you get 8k x 15.2(12x + 1 aws + 0.75 corp + 1.5 perf bonus) = 121k.
So probably i can say govtech might not be the best, but at least it's better compared to some companies that didn't give aws or bonus.

Imagine you wait for 4 years for BTO and ended up being denied to collect the key because of getting increment.

Annual average increment is 3 to 5%
So 4 years that's 20%.
So roughly you'll be earning at 6600k at the point of application.
So BTO ceiling should be lowered to 6500k per month.
So simple
Earn 6.5k Pps leave in condo. Ppl in HDB should be those earning less than 6.5k

If we start reducing the income ceiling for BTO, it will only push the price of Resale flat.
Given that the Govt is trying to push more people in resale, it doesn't make sense for them to make resales less attractive to buyers.
Looking at how some industries are doing really well, the income ceiling for housing might be increased instead.
Some of the Computer science graduate already start with 5k+ to 7+.
Give them 4 years and they can cross the 5 digit figure per month.
