$3.9k is good enough for 2nd upper. I got $3.5k 2nd upper when I started out in 2011.

Starting pay under MX scheme is same across ministries for fresh grads - depends on NS, class of hons. It's the increment which may be different. They probably adjusted the fresh grad salary over the last two years. Fresh grad salaries are usually adjusted once every two years or so.

This is very useful. I thought MX11 has been broken up into MX11 and MX11A? I suppose MX11A would be from 7115 onwards.

Normal. My salary was adjusted to that too. Same honors local uni, joined less than a yr ago.
