I jus got promoted from MX 11 to 11a. My increment last year was abt 4% but tis year with the promotion, my increment is only 3.5%. I got B for both years and I have 17 years of working exp. Can anyone share why promotion increment is lesser than annual increment?

i don't know why but I got promoted last year with an A grade from mx12 to mx11. promotion increment was also less than merit increment

For stat boards that follow closely to ministry, do the 2Bs to promote rule still applies? I have conflicting responds. Some say 2Bs, some say no longer have such thing, 2C+ is sufficient. Need some confirmation here.

What does the principal stands for? What is the next few level, if promoted?

At my stat board, this is the ceiling designation for your scheme. You will have at most one more grade to progress and it will stop there, unless they are able to transfer you to another scheme with more room to grow.

Promotion increment is a fixed value. Merit increment is based on performance grade.

Were you at the ceiling of mx11 before you got promoted to mx11a?
