what is the starting pay in ministries / stat boards?

probably 3-3.2K +-100/200 and different ministries/stat boards pay differently. which are specifically looking at?

3rd class is usually around 3k or less. That is IF you can even get a public service job with 3rd class. 3rd class damn hard to get a job in civil/public service unless sign on.

which is also why I think 3rd class hons have a really slim chance of getting in. there isnt much diff between a pass deg with merit, and a 3rd class hons right?

a normal degree that doesn't offer honors might be better den a 3rd class in some cases...

Yea. That's why I rather not even take up hons if its gg to be low hons. Govt gives more recognition to 2nd upper & first class.

Civil servants are those working directly under the Ministry. Public service includes Ministry AND Stat boards.
