Could you provide more info to access your situation?

your pay is close to the ceiling...thus the small increment.

I was promoted to MX11 in 2010 and got a 8.8% merit increment (relative to the recent pay hike for MX scheme). Got B as a performance grade.

Anyone on MX11 and got a C grade? Want to know the ~% merit increment for average performer? Thanks.

ppl seem to be too fixated on percent and grade, which only tell half of the story, the MX scheme has a very wide salary scale. Some MX12 may even be paid more than some MX11.

For example,

Officer A - Base = $5K, MI = 10%
Officer B - Base = $8K, MI = 5%

So, who is "better off" afterall? Another factor is the no. of years taken for every $1000 jump e.g. take 2-5 years for every $1K jump etc?

Could you elaborate more, Sensei? I understand how some MX12 can be paid more than MX11 but those at MX12 are likely to have a lower CEP hence they are retained within MX12 grade for longer time. Comparing those on the same grade e.g. MX11, just want to know B = X% MI and C =X% MI?

Lastly, I took ~3 years for every 1k jump. Now earning 5.7k for less than 5 years experience. 2nd upper male with ns. not a scholar. in a ministry MX scheme. first job since graduation.

LOL your salary is really IMBA!!!! You are from the 2007july grad batch right!! Me same batch as you. I will need to work my @ss off at least 10 more years to hit your 5.7k in my company!!! And by that time, you should be MX10 or MX9 with a salary of min 8k - 12k range!!!

Just some question about civil service:

I quote 3 scheme:
DXO scheme
Education scheme
MX scheme

The education scheme is under the GEO scale, from the website, got the CONNECT Plan Payouts, like once every 3-5 years, teacher are allow to get some $$ from this plan...

The DXO also got kind of plan similar to CONNECT Plan, as stated in the website few years back, now they remove the info already.>>Can someone really confirm this?

Just curious do the MX scheme also have similar plan, that allow employee to draw out lump sum $$ once every 3-5 years??

Thank

Yes. For DXO scheme, every four years, the DXO is entitled to $8k of incentive.
