After you incapable of reading? AFTER the adjustment, the office fatasses are getting almost the SAME PAY as the field officers.

In fact, taking the current salary from SPF website, the MSOs with diplomas are getting MORE than the POs WITH THE SAME EDUCATION LEVEL while the differences between degree holders POs and their MX counterparts is less than $100. The "danger" and "hardship" pay are negated by this increment to office fatasses.

Don't qualify? I only heard of fatasses unable to pass their IPPT or with shitty PES status not suitable for field, never heard of field officers not suitable to sitting inside offices slacking and kissing asses.

I heard that officers who just recently switched over to the civil service would not be eligible for this wage adjustment. Any one can confirm this?

In the Uniformed Services , The CEP for all Graduate Officers (GD) is a minimum Superscale H or MX9 . If one is a scholar , or has exceptional abilities, it goes up higher .

U are sorely misinformed. Not all uniformed officers have high CEP. And they don't use MX scale to measure as well..

MX 9 or H should be the CEP of most Graduate Officers who join the Service.

From a group of C squad persons who passed out about 15 to 18 years ago , 90% of them are on H or higher now ; these includes the majoirty of them who came out with just a General Degree . Some have even been posted to other Ministries .

The remaining 10% encountered "issues" along the way (e.g disciplinary, medical etc) , hence did not get emplaced on Superscale.

For the avoidance of doubt , H is certainly NOT considered high CEP
and even so , by private sector comparision , hardly constitutes "high salaries"......LOL .

For an Admin Officer, their CEP would (probably) range from D upwards to Staff Grade .

One can always speak to the PSC to clarify BEFORE you accept their offer .

don't be such a simpleton. for 2 persons of equivalent calibre, the trajectory of the uniformed one will be faster so even if the pay ranges are close, the uniformed one on average will move through the pay grades more quickly that non-uniformed. the reason is simple, earlier retirement age means one must hit CEP faster than equivalent non-uniformed officers. i see quite a number of young uniformed officers getting their sup and DAC faster compared to the average MX officers getting their 10 and 9.

if u think the civilian schemes are paying better, the option is always open for u to make a switch. there is no need for you to insult the majority who prefer to use their brains instead of brawn to earn a living. In fact, if you are really a uniformed officer, u should know that the curry favour culture is more prevalent in uniformed organisations as compared to non uniformed organisations precisely due to rank consciousness.

And I thought u did your research properly. Based on SPF's website, for inspector of police starting pay for the lowest educational level is 3,402 (with NS) min. Good degree max out at 4,262 whereas for a Home Affairs Senior Executive, it is 3,088 min to 3,752 max (with NS). The gap is easily 300 bucks. Where got less than 100?
