Are ministry jobs (policy) harder to get compared with most stat board jobs for fresh grads? Sent in many ministry job applications and got rejected without even an interview. With a FCH too.

Are officers in 'lousier' ministries like MSF (heard there's a lot of second-lower honours people here) paid the same as officers in more 'elite' ministries like MOF and MTI, where most officers have first or second upper honours?

Agree that MSF standard of employees are low compared with other ministries and starboards.. imo I think their overall pay package may be lower ba

The pay package and schemes are the same for all ministries. All MX scheme

Unless you are on special schemes (AO, Ecos, stats, FSO or Stat Board)

For all you know, MSF hires lots of masters, PhD, and Doctors. so I don't think is such a big deal to compare honours.

the public services have 160+k people, all FCH and 2nd upper, do you think is possible?
MSF have 2.2k+ staff on MX scheme
MTI 400+ staff on MX scheme
MOF 800+ staff on MX scheme

unless you are a scholar, if not unlikely to get in policies easily

Hi peeps, this may sound stupid cos this is my first cs job. So my pay day is on the 12 and if I tender my resignation on the 1, will I still get my pay on the upcoming 12? In the event if I do, will I then need to pay back the difference on my last day? Sorry im just very confused, any help is greatly appreciated.
