Its a IT role. Yes the base is quite low, in fact i took a pay cut joining.
but annual about 120k still reasonable i guess

IT role should join those specialist scheme like GovTech/IMDA. If you're on MX scheme, it's really shortchanging yourself.

i think it is about the same.
recently my team recruited someone from govtech, he was a grade H in govtech and join us as mx11a.
same grade as me (probably higher pay than me cause more exp) but i am his RO.

his basic drop but in here we have MAC for engineering staff, so the overall package is comparable

Both same grade but you are his RO? Usually SAD RO is Director.

yes no connect plan, but if you are in engineering, you have 1 extra month bonus (MAC) every year

Govtech payscale easily higher by 15-20% as compared to mx of the same grade

yes i am his RO. i lead a team of 5 person (including myself), 3 mx11a and 2 mx11
my RO is a DD.

my side promotion as such
SAD -> head -> DD, both head and DD are mx10 but i was told mx10 got lower and upper range
