A post in the civil service performance bonus thread stated that esg has no mid and year end bonus :/
means bonus special to the stat board (i.e, if revenue good then they give our dividends like that), so maybe ESG's is incorporated into that or into the performance bonus. They won't shortchange you.

If not you can ask your an average package. Most civil service annual average is 15-15.5x.

For us to comment is 4k is a good value, can you share your background: gender, degree classification, fresh grad or not, work experience (if any).

Just got offer of $4k from a ministry. Fresh grad, male with NS, double major with FCH. Am I being shortchanged then?

I'm a 27 year old who completed my medical degree in cambridge. Was previously working in UK before returning to Singapore. I absolutely hate how underpaid doctors are. We work 70-80 hours a week while earning peanuts and on top of that bear of the responsibility of our patients. The amount of work we put in is insane and the return is so pathetic. I'm thinking of a career switch to something in the CS. Will anyone have any good suggestions? Would be very very grateful!

Yes. Reject it and find something better.

You deserve something better.

Jokes aside, FCH maybe about 100 more only. Depends on your ministry or statboard. Some pay ministry/ agencies pay higher salary than others.
