Why not? Some farmer Deputy Directors are earning entry superscale pay.

Heard that nowadays the they are simply hiring in 2 years rolling contract. Or at best 2 years to perm. In the recent past it was 1 year to perm, and further back it was just probation for a few months then confirmation.

Asking to find out what the norm is nowadays.

I am in SkillsFuture. 2 year contract with 1 year probation, my first job, gross 3.5k. While on probation, got all the bonuses as a full time staff and also all the benefits as well.

Thanks 4 sharing. So it's a 2 yr contract but the first year is on probation, which means u can be sacked after the first yr for failing probation, and again during the 2nd yr if contract not renewed? After that will convert to perm?
