Partially correct.. FYI, my RO is a SD, what i was told... individual ROs will submit staff CEP in the SAR and the SAR AO (Group/Division Dir (can be SD or Dir)) will endorse it... lastly PS/DS will give a rubber stamp approval during senior management meeting...
only different is if you are a scholar, the CEP is managed joinly by SB/Min HR and PSC/PSD.

actually in summary, CEP depends on performance. but if you are a scholar, you will be on the spotlight since you join, hence higher chance to be "spotted". if you are a farmer, you may need a bit of luck and given a chance to score point.

Hi, i’m a grad to be in July, and I just finished an interview at a stat board last week and recently received a call to ask if i have any academic achievements or other achievements at uni - i didn’t mention any of those during my interview. Do they matter on whether i get the job or not?

No achievement and no experience will get lower pay compared to others who have.

so FCH + Dean List + CCA winners will get the highest pay? i wish my competitors are not that calibre, just a 2:1 to-be. Haha. Maybe now just wait for the rejection.
