How much is your salary currently?

That's my colleague's career track. Salary I heard was approx $7200. Any idea what's the CEP of such an individual?

It is possible to promote annually. My colleague in SB had the good fortune to do visible projects that all invited the CEO. However she worked easily 12 hours a day even on weekends. We say that she got promoted due to the sheer number of projects completed. (merit)

Subtle bragging. You are paid well in today's very soft market simply because you can study. What's there to consider?

Unless you are skipping the big four and taking a cushy job instead then please go big four and gain valuable experience else later on you will regret.

Hey buddy, being more descriptive on why you feel average will help a lot. Many fresh grads are counting ants at home praying for a call to interview so, don't mind when people take offence that you think 3k plus is unreasonable. Heck, you may even receive no replies as the general mindset now is, "just grab, job market is really bad."

Youth is an amazing asset. But don't be foolish to give up 3k plus... Unless u have several 3k plus offers.

I guess I am trying to ask if that is the pay range for SB. Yes, I understand where you are coming from as I experience it myself too. It took me about 8 months to finally get an offer from CS. All my other applications were ignored or rejected without calls for interview.

I guess the market is really bad eh? Thought I was the few unlucky ones struggling for so long to secure a job.

Um means you aren't a fresh grad then?

Does anyone know how confirmation increment is computed? Say i joined Jan 2019, what are the factors that determine confirmation increment in Jan 2020? And how would it affect merit increment in Apr 2020?

UOL 2nd lowers (Hons) fresh grad here. Was offered a 1 year contract at SB with 3.1k salary. Not really keen on the role after attending the interview, but I am wondering if the experience would enable me to jump to other SBs in the future.

The SB job scope is very similar to my previous private sector work where I disliked the job nature and resigned due to burnout. I understand how difficult it is to land a CS job with my degree, but should I accept the offer knowing that I won't enjoy the work?

Need some opinions for this dilemma. Thank you.
