Really? D is at 180k? Are u D or HR in CS to know this? A relative who was a D told me back in 2008, his monthly was 12k. That makes his annual 190k. With 10 yrs of inflation it should now be much more
Anyway I have indicated before interview my expected and they have also called me up for interview last week. I hope they are not wasting my time or their own time.

D or not I think its title only. In my organisation an analyst can get 150k to 200k.
No D or not D

Does that mean that I have the chance to go to MX 13 and further with the same career pathway as degree holders?

Public service has merged the diploma and degree schemes so technically, you are in the same scheme as degree holders. How fast you climb depends on your performance and potential comparatively.

They will prorata both 13th month and year end bonus based on length of service within the calendar year. The same for Mar 2019 PB and increment.

An MX10 in the higher pay band can hit 180k nowadays inclusive of bonuses. But likely that will be an MX10 who is sitting in a DD position. If they are a SAD, then likely to be around the 140k-160k range.

You can try fighting. To give you perspective, a lower grade allows them to assess you in your first year and recommend promotion in 1-2 years. Lower PB quantum and slower increment as you might be near ceiling. Higher grade may mean higher PB quantum and higher increment due to the higher ceiling but you are compared with more seasoned staff who can potentially perform way better than you and have higher visibility. Promotion in 3-5 years if you can maintain BBC grades. Basically big fish small pond vs small fish big pond.

Prorated based on the number of days you were in service for the year.
