Ya, heard MAS is hardest government agency to enter, harder than MFA and EDB for sure. Coz it's pegged to the sector it regulates (banking & finance). u can prob extrapolate from how competitive it is to get their scholarships and the number of people it hires (i think around 20 each year and even then i heard within MAS there's a spread of depts, some more competitive than others).

Not too sure about the starting pay.
But i transfer from MAS to a SB under MOT, my ceiling is the same.
I am a mx10 (junior) equivalence.
