There's always hope. I am NZ grad. Bad grades, no honours, just pass degree.

2010 - 2500 (Private)
2011 - 3000 (Private)
2012 - 4500 (Private)
2013 - 5000 (Private)
2014 - 5800 (Private)
2015 - 6500 (Private)
2016 - 8500 (Private)
2017 - 10000 (Private)
2018 - 12000 (Private)
2019 - 13000 (SB)

This is basic. Not inclusive of AWS, Bonus and employer CPF.

Wow... why did the company gave you a 50% increment? Even job-hopping usually do not net you such a great jump!

Another poster here. This is not impossible as it is the case in my company. Each promotion is 25 to 30%.

60 to 70% will be for those who got promoted 2 levels up. I know this is not common in most companies.

That said, promotions wont come in every year for sure.

With degree and more than 7 years of experience.
