Ask any doctors and you will realise how poorly paid we are especially when compared to the hours and stress that comes from the job. We spend 70-80 hours a week earning just above 5k a month. Entry army personnel earns as much as us but works probably half our working hours and dont have to deal with patient, patients family, all the responsibility and stress. I know I'm not cut out to be a doctor. That's why I am thinking of doing something else

Red face

I worked at the learning lab and drew a salary 4.5k as teacher from 25-28. After i got sick of tuition, then I went to civil service and drew 4k believe it or not, MX scheme, back in 2014.

Currently, I am earning twice my salary in the learning lab after 5 years if pb and bonuses are included.

By the way, another colleague of mine from the learning lab with 2:1 also joined with one year experience same as me back then. He got 4000 too. So civil service doesn't care about the learning lab salary or previous experience in our cases.

Now he drawing 6k or so.
