The mx11/11a range here should be for to the SB this individual is in. For ministry, mx 11 upper limit is 7.2k, for mx11a its 8.4k.

So 2017 annual package about 134k per year with 12 years of experience. Such a good deal compared to private sector.

How good packages are is relative. In my social circle, those in CS are mostly 120k annual package with about 7 years experience, around the MX11-MX11a rank. Those in private range from 60k to 200k with the same 7 years experience.

Hi, can someone pls enlighten me on whether the salary cap for each pay grade is the same throughout the service (esp. for the lowest ranks such as MX13 and MX12)? I'm in a stat board now and very new to this. Thx!

Its the same for all staff who are under MX scheme and working in ministries. For example, for MX12, salary cap is around 6k. If you are interested in the MX bands, you can refer to the link:

For stat boards, they generally follow the MX bands, but I believe there is some variation from stat board to stat board (esp for the high profile ones like EDB).

Does anyone know how the CEP is calculated for fresh grad? Joined as MX13 in Jul last yr. think Apr supposed to have PB but dunno how it is calculated? I dun know my CEP either

ur pb will be prorated based on the number of days u worked last year.
u r not suppose to know ur cep.
