Am I already considered lagging behind from where I am? I am still MX12 after 7 years, which is strange to me because every year I get a 2-2.5 month performance bonus. And I haven't hit the MX12 cap either; still got 2 or 3 years to go. My peers have been MX11 for about 2 years already.
What factors should I consider, or should I just disregard this offer altogether?

If I were you, I wouldn't take that offer unless
- I'm really confident that the prospects are good
- it's something that I'm passionate about and would enjoy doing

I wouldn't take up the 4.1k offer becos
1. If u get another increment in april, u will lugi 600-700 bucks by taking up the lower pay job. And in the 1st place u are already disturbed that your current salary is lower than your peers. Once u climb down the ladder, it will be a rough and slow journey to climb up again..
2. I would decline the offer and continue searching for other jobs. Job market is expected to be even better this year, esp after bonus season.
3. Unless the 4.1k job is something very different from what you're doing now and u have genuine interest and really think it has great prospects. For eg. bank analyst, commodities trading, MNC start up in Sg etc.

I think since you've already accepted the job (you mentioned you just started), probably better not to think too much about it. Anyway the increment or PB could be better than what you expect. Even if it's not, you'd have to hang ard for a year before you quit right.

But I am offered 3600 and just started working not too long ago, and wondering what is the pay increment and PB like.
This is because I have some friends telling me that the increment is like only 2 digits (less than $100) for an Executive?! And this is not even pro-rated!
No offense to the others, but I thought it would be pathetic to draw this amount.

P.B normally is 2 to 2.5 months on avg and increment is like 3% on average so for you probably $108?
it all depends...promotion is like maybe 6% to your next grade 13?
1) which uni you from? degree u took?
2) Number of years of experience?
the above 2 questions play a part too...

Thanks for the inputs. I hav abt 6-7 yrs of working exp. Well, private degree. Same like one of a guy here too.
2-2.5 mths of PB is gd, but 3% is really well, not alot. But i guess just having a private degree is obviously umcomparable to the local uni grads.
Oh well, at least its a stable job.
Thanks...

Flexi Benefits
Hi again,
I would like to ask about flexi benefits. Is this part of the pay package for people working in ministries?
Thank you so much for answering
