I think she did very well, not all that ordinary. Almost all B and A grades. Just that she stayed as MX11 for quite long so am actually surprised cause all Bs but still stuck at MX11 so long. Probably cep not very high.

No one.

The CS has always cited competitive salary and performance-based reward system among reasons for joining the CS.

Come, come, come join us! :)

Need some help here, 31 yr old this year and been in the Public Service for 4 years.
Recently applied for a Job with another Stat Board and was offered 4.1k (Current Salary 4.1k but having additional allowanceof about $400 due to shift work).

New job doesn't require me to work on shift but rather regular working hours.

Should I take up this job offer?

Its technically a pay cut for me but I get my weekends back and I don't have to work till like 11pm sometimes.

MX - 12 Grade

Am I being underpaid here?

Will they consider my past experience during promotion?

I was told by HR this would be under their Movement Scheme.
Which means bonuses will be paid in full.

I'm quite sure your previous workplace is PA.
Getting a job anywhere else other than PA is already considered a promotion.

Seems like this person is faking. In my whole fcuking career in civil service aka MOE, I have yet to see anyone getting Grade A performance.

There are only one or two grade Bs in every school.

Heard that Grade A ranking is mainly to gloss over the scholars.

Generally it is possible for above average to hit 5k in 5 years. In 3 years, not impossible but this guy must be kinda high flyer.

A lot of fcukers in this forum posting fake adviser, selling the idea that as long as you work hard, you will succeed in Singapore. Dream long long.

Sounds like another of those cannot-make-it frog-in-well underachieving loser who is disgruntled in life and refuses to believe that others can do well, only because he himself sucks and he thinks everyone else sucks just like him.

Laughable. But it's ok, he can wallow in his own pitiful existence while others work hard and reap their due reward. Dream long long for him indeed. :)
