want to compare, those covariates like qualifications, years of exp etc are the bare minimum that sld be included in the comparison.
if you are not comfortable with sharing your salary and is here just to leech on the salary information from others then just keep quiet. Otherwise, dont discourage others from sharing their salary in a COMPARE SALARY thread.
Having said that, i concur that the way the previous poster asked the question lacks basic manner.

Thing is i am more than willing to share and have shared with many others but at the end of the day i realized there are some air heads who come in and used the same format to ask pple their salary details and qualifications. I have read thru these threads and realized many of these people dont have any actual contributions but rather just jumped on every opportunity to ask these intimate questions.
How do you even know if these people who asked are people who have themselves revealed their details. Many (fresh grads esp) just unknowingly share explicit details. There are others who are of course genuinely helping people to answer queries but there are so many scumbags here just interested in knowing intimate details and then later jump into criticizing people out of nowhere. Sharing is good, but depends on the targeted audience right..

What is the first year bonus for MTI's officers?
I heard that MAS has something called the anniversary bonus which is fixed and independent of your performance.
Does it apply to the ministries?

It's not that it's independent of performance. It's just that most govt agencies give you the default grade in the first year because they aren't able to fully assess performance.
Nonetheless you will get a performance bonus based on this default grade aka C. There are instances where officers are ranked in their first year but it really depends on their reporting officers' choice and the month which they joined. Let's say they joined in Jan - quite likely they would be explicitly ranked. However if they joined in Jun, then it's highly unlikely that they would be explicitly ranked.

What if u join in like april or may? I mean is there a standardized cutoff date that u may be entitled to B and above if u continue to perform well?
