Ask your HR, or check in your own organization's HR resources on the intranet. Have a series of decent performance gradings handy.

Which one is the real deal?

Already said Liao... Onli 1 ministry has the scheme.

MTI is a ministry
MAS is a stat board

But economist from mti is always rotated around. So some may be posted to MAS for 2 or 2.5 years while still being in the scheme and enjoy higher pay.

Hi

Hello I am 27 years old, 2 years of experience in investment banking... Currently drawing 12k a month...

I am getting stressed and burnt out from the industry and looking to go into civil service..
What should I apply for to match my pay? I suppose I should aim for mx9 roles?

mx12 to mx11 after change of job

I have been working for a stat for about 3 years(immediately after graduation), mx12, drawing a salary of 4.3k. If I want to apply for a related government job, should I be aiming for mx11 or mx11a?

Just to clarify, what I meant was if I should be aiming for the same grade as in mx12 or should I be aiming for a promotion to mx11/mx11a..

Then don't enter civil service. Simple.
