I'm at the ceiling for mx11, about 7119. Let's say I get promoted to mx11a next year, will I receive merit increment? I know that there's a promotion increment of 250.

Depends on the salary which you entered mx11 at. What's your current salary, after the Aug 2014 adjustment?

How do you know the promo increment is $250? I got merit increment last year at $400+. Now earning $6900+ (MX11 since 2010)

Heard that those who were emplaced in mx11a received 250 on top of the 5% which all in mx11 received.

What was your performance grade when you receive the 400+ increment?

Just to confirm, the 6900+ includes the 5 percent increment given in Aug 2014?

seeing this thread really made me depressed. i'm earning at least $1k++ lower than my peers and people here with around the same no. of working years since grad, just that i joined much later than them.

makes worse on those who ask if 'i'm doing ok' when getting normal (or high) salaries. for those who ask, i'm a local grad (the 2 main uni), male with 2.5 yrs NS, 6 yrs since grad and i'm getting a meagre 4.6k after 1x MI while peers in same stat board getting 6k+. i guess i'm the lowest here...
