Could you list down your working experiences upon graduation? Cause working only for 2 years and gotten promotions each year, it would seem you're mid-career entry and your starting pay was lower that what you were getting previously. Now they're trying to backpay you.

reaching my 2nd year mark in july. joined as fresh grad into Ministry with 2nd upper class honours, with NS.

just got promoted to mx11 after being confirmed to mx12 at one year mark last july. how much promotion + merit increment should I be expecting?

MX13 - $36xx
MX12 - $39xx
MX11 - $4___?

Grateful for any inputs you may have. Thanks!

Job grade: MX11
Job title: Manager, Assistant Director
Pay scale: S$4,510 – S$6,776 / S$6,777 – S$7,909
<<this value already include the april2012 adjustment +10%>>

the min salary for MX11 is 4510.

since you are promoted to MX11, and haven reach the min pay scale of MX11, thus I guess your next salary will be $4510.

pls update us when you got your next pay slip

im a mid-career hire.

joined at MX12 (~5k)...have never gotten below a 'B'. promoted to MX11 last year

my HOD fights very hard for me so that i can enjoy the best possible MI

now i am under no illusion that i can progress beyond MX10 in the near future. as such, i hope to be able to secure a 'better' job in the private s/r once i hit MX10

sorry, i don't consider hi-po as a farmer. to me, it's similar to scholar. perhaps different tracks yes, but there's no denying that hipo track is v different from a farmer track.
