you wait long long. all Civil service use the same method of salary calculation, u want to bluff who? They will not pay ridiculous salary, mostly just match ur current, unless u are in specialized areas then they will be able to pay abit more. You type already u feel happy while in real u dreaming of that job in the public service?

I guess it’s because of my YOE which are relevant. But I think I’m going decline, as offer is below my expectations.

Hi helpful friends, question about moving from private to public.
Saw a post where it’s mentioned they will not match your last drawn pay but instead peg your compensation based on their internal pay scale.
So someone with low years of experience but high pay (example 5 years earning 10k) will not find it favourable to move into public.
What about someone with high years of experience but low pay? Example got 8 years but still earning low 3k.
Can take advantage and suddenly get more than 4K 5k in public?
Does it work this way? Thanks in advance.

3 months is quite normal considering the basic is not high to begin with.
Private can earn way more.
