What education qualifications you have?
Is your previous work exp related to this job?
What is your last drawn pay?

If you are a diploma holder, I say this is pretty decent pay.
If you are a local degree holder (Big 3 - NUS/NTU/SMU), you should expect at least 5K if your previous work exp is relevant.

Local uni fresh grads FCH with NS are already getting almost 4k. Something is odd here...

With regard to the earlier query (Mx12, 4k):
Local uni with NS. 30 this year. Was on a short term contract. Would not divulge too much to remain anon.
Performed well in my role and was moved up to Team Lead and then Dy Head as people left and have been in that role for a year. Queried to be on a longer contract. HR says Mx11 not possible as YOE is insufficient although my prev work exp is taken into account. Which means 4 - 5 yoe minimally. Offered 4k for MX 12 despite the additional responsibilities and workload.

Is there a minimum YOE or age to be MX 11? Please do chime in - especially HR folks who would have 1st hand exp. Thanks in advance!

Thing abt ministry is they follow by relavant work exp.. Even if u work 20 years but exp not relavant will have some minus point there.. So that why i guess ur in mx12.. But 4k is good though.. Most fresh grad start off at $3k++.. Dont listen to people say fresh grad start at $4k etc, most general regular mx start off at $3k+++ i would say..
