dont worry about your requested pay. The hiring managers will first select people based on credentials. If you manage to get through all the interviews, HR will work out a package for you.
If u didnt get called up, it is not because of your requested pay. It is because of your credentials.

I got an engineering degree from SUSS with close to 7 years as an assistant engineer. So far LTA have been rejecting (unsuccessful status) for almost all my applications. I’ve applied for fresh grad engineer posting and assistant manager postings. This is despite me fulfilling the job requirements.
Does this mean I can never join civil service? Because ultimately they still favour ntu nus fresh grads? 😔

Believe it or not. I applied for LTA 19 times in past 8 years and gotten an offer this time.

waited 1 week since verbal confirmation, how long more should i wait before re-contacting them?
or suddenly something happened and they dropped me?
is it common to have to wait so long for the contract and LOA signing? or should I be worried?
